This custom is of "Captain N: The Game Master", from the cartoon of the same name. I used a Back to the Future Marty Minimate as the starting body. His future jacket was a good match for Kevin's varsity jacket (apparently all the rage in the 80's and early 90's!). And the Marty figure had blue jeans and high top sneakers too, also a good match for Kev. I painted up the shirt, jacket, and arms by hand. The NES controller was made from a VERY small piece of plastic, with the details drawn on (and a pain in the ass that was!). The holster is a just an extra Minimate foot with the peg cut off and glued in place, and the Captain N's Zapper was a painted up Minimate gun which I carved into a more accurate shape. Lastly the "N" on his jacket (which actually stands for "Northridge") was drawn on a white sticker back, then cut out and affixed into place. The finished figure stands just over 2" tall.
A custom figurine that's just as badass as the cartoon. Great work.

I think everyone should have a "Glass Joe" philosophy on life; no matter how many times you get knocked out, even if it's 99 times in a row, don't stay down.
